Documents are made for people

...A similar tragedy has happened to documents. They have been encumbered with so many false conventions, contorted by bizarre notices of language, distorted by misconceptions about communication and self, that many in the community look upon documents to be avoided wherever possible or to be consulted only as a last resort. They are too often seen as fountains of frustration rather than sources for enlightenment and aid.
